Depending on how much he's submitting, he could "join' CGC and get certain perks, like free "fast lane," - 10-20% off grading fees / pressing, certain amount of "grading credit" ... you can see the link here:

I think it's mostly for dealers, but if I were grading a small collection I'd probably choose the Elite Tier for a year.... and if you're grading more than a few books, the Premium Tier pretty much pays for itself.
