I just had a first. Last week a buyer messaged me about a card that was roughly $3. He said the condition was horrible. No problem, I apologized that the card was not in expected condition and told him I would refund the money and he could also keep the card for free. He then responded scolding me about listing it to begin with. I explained that it was a honest mistake, and I don't inspect every low end card that I list in bulk. Whatever, I moved on.

BUT THEN! I went to check my mail yesterday and had a small armalope envelope that I had no clue about. I wasn't expecting anything like that so I opened it up not knowing what to expect. What I got was my card back, and a typed out letter breaking down the transaction and my professional responses to him. He explained point by point how disappointed he was with me. He even went as far to say he has visited my area before and most people were so kind and loving, so he didn't understand how I ended up this way, listing cards that were not mint. Truly magnificent. The amount of time and tears he put into this was incredible. I should have saved it, but I was pumping gas while reading it so I tossed it in the trash before I left. Gotta love it. I should mail him a typed response about his typed response.
