I remember when Marvel Allure was announced thinking it would be a fun break and likely the final Infinity Saga set. It also looked like a set with too many parallels and not the greatest card designs. Plus, it seemed clear it needed to be opened by the case but for whatever reason cases were 20 boxes which pushed the price up far too high for me.

Skimming through the Allure thread here and it looks like the earliest pre-orders were $200 for boxes (June 2022) and prices quickly jumped to ~$300 at release (June 2023) before falling to $125 just a month after the set hit e-Pack (January 2024). So that's $6,000 for a case down to $2,500.

Physical boxes are now $99.95 and physical cases are $1,899.95. Boxes on e-Pack at 50% off are $77.49 and cases are $1,524.99.

I'm getting tempted. $1,500 is still a lot of money, though, and from the few breaks shared here it's 4-5 autos per case if you're lucky or as few as two autos if you're unlucky. Plus on e-Pack too many of the cards are going to be digital base. I just don't think I can justify starting off 2025 $1,500 in the hole and hope I hit a big card or two.
