Was it? Mark Andrews had already played his game. I'm not sure if yahoo changed how they do things, but I've been playing fantasy football there for twenty years and it used to be if a trade was agreed to and any player involved in the trade played a game before the review period was over the trade would not go through until the following week.
I can't see any other reason for pushing the trade through than that it wasn't going to go through (because Andrews had already played) until next week. ...I haven't checked yahoo settings, but there's a chance they changed this rule to allow for a trade to go through if a player remained on a team's bench. But it definitely did not used to make a difference.
Either way, I'm glad we're in agreement that the commish needs to be transparent.
