Even when he was at his best, Griffey's OPS+ was 171. Judge is doing this in an era when the league is hitting a lot worse overall. An OPS+ of .230 has only really been done by Ruth and Bonds and in some respects Judge is even more impressive as he's doing it in an era with the highest velocity, the fewest times seeing a pitcher 3x which means he's seeing more hard throwing relievers than anyone in the past.
