What are the odds that any of the guys people are investing in on these boards have a season anywhere near as good as Judge's best? Only a couple guys not named Shohei Ohtani even have a chance.
Judge is off to a amazing start, but the season is so long and filled with nicks and bruises that make great players look average. In 06 Pujols could have had a monster season the same way Judge looks to have. He played 143 games ended up with 119 runs, 177 hits, 33 2B, 1 3B, 49 HR’s, 137 RBI’s .331/.431/.671/1.102. He missed 15 consecutive games with a injury, had a period of 16 games where he looked like he was playing injured from July to early Aug. Cabrera was the same way in 2013, after playing 123 games out of 131 : 94 Runs, 170 Hits, 25 2B, 1 3B, 43 HR’s, 130 RBI’s, .359/.450/.688/1.137, then Cabrera looked like he needed a walker to reach first base and only hit 1 home run in his last 25 games.

Let’s hope playing through this pain doesn’t badly diminish Judges performance. I have a hard time seeing him not struggling for a period of time.
