The record $12.6 million sale of Mantle 1952 Topps SGC 9.5 did not do anything to the lower grade copies. They have dropped in value since then. I can see the Star 101 PSA 9 copies retaining their value since there are only three of them. I am not optimistic on BGS 8.5 (pop 260), BGS 9 (pop 73), PSA 7 (pop 69) and lower grade copies.
