You can blame Trout to a fault but who wouldn't want to win with the org that drafted them? Isn't that every players dream? He went once, probably thinking he'd be back again soon but the Angels have done a horrible job of building competitive playoff rosters.
During Trouts tenure, there was a season where there 6-9 hitters set an MLB record for worst WAR over the course of an entire season. Over a third of your lineup, literally contributing negatively to your teams outcome. Joke by any standard

Didn't you know? Every great athlete in history is supposed to win with the team that drafted them except Trout. He's the one the that should be team hopping to win a title. Although, if he did that I'm sure people would knock him for that too saying that he wasn't good enough to do it in LA. Can't win (literally).
