I think most of us expected a price hike of some sort; you'd be crazy not to all things considered. But not four figure-territory. Really does feel like Panini trying to bleed what they can from the last gasps of its licensing arrangement.
I wouldn't be surprised if there's some market rejection here. I mean, I guess the product is pretty breaker-friendly, and that may ultimately prop it up, but the wrestling card market has cooled down a bit post-McMahon scandal, and depending on how many ripples develop as more info comes out etc., we very well may have seen the peak.
