oh i agree i just think it only hurts his market because the MLB market up here isn't good in general (outside of Jays players). It hurts his card market but citing "asian population" or how important Jays baseball is in Canada as reasons isn't really very valid.
The Jays card market here is massive. It's just that MLB market here is poor in general, and the population here is much smaller then in the US, due entirely to population.
But ohtani will be massive up here and it won't hurt his earing potential RE endorsements or contract etc being up here, which was stated by the poster as well.
