UPDATE: So I just got my card back along with two other orders (highlights in the next post) from SGC. I'll start by saying I'm pretty pleased with the outcome, but obviously I would have preferred the 10 that it started out as. SGC cracked my damaged card and regraded it. It came back an SGC 9. They offered to buy the card outright from me but I wanted it back so they sent it and offered me $450 in compensation to make up for the damage. The card still has the slightest dimple that you can see if you hold it just right in the light.
