I could be on Fields' side here, depending on how the coaches are coaching him. If they're nitpicking everything, I'm with Fields that they need to let him rely more on his instincts. Something tells me Anthony Richardson isn't being micromanaged and he's using his athleticism freely as a result, for example. I'll say this: Fields didn't have this double clutching problem in college under Ryan Day, who frankly had to teach him how to stay in the pocket in the first place. Maybe the Bears should try to poach Day from OSU before giving up on a talent like Fields, who doesn't look half as bad as some have suggested.
