On one hand, I've always liked having full control over when money leaves my account, even if it's just 5 minutes later it's nice having that final say. I wonder how this impacts if you wanted to make offers on multiple items from the same seller. I know I've gone in and submitted up a bunch of offers at once and let the seller know I was interested in more than just a few things - has always helped with shipping and sellers generally more willing to work with you if you're buying a bunch. How will things like combined shipping work with this? If it's collecting the payment up front and processes each accepted offer individually, that's a huge turn off for me as a buyer. Repeat $5 shipping per item and it doesn't take long for shipping costs to really get pricey
As a seller this seems like a big plus. No more worrying about NPBs, hit the accept button and get your money

just got hit with one of these as a buyer, and i absolutely hate it. the offer was actually accepted so i have already paid for the item and it is currently awaiting shipment. so why is this a bad thing?
actually to me it is very bad because, that seller had 5 more cards i was interested in buying. 3 i was going to buy outright if this offer was accepted, and was going to make offers for the other 2. but since my initial offer on one card was accepted, i am not going to bother with the other 5 at this point. just cost that guy potentially 5 more sales.
