I think all these grading companies have a place right now and hopefully in the future. I for one am excited about 2023 when I can grade with what I actually find important. My top two things I want in a grading company is fair pricing and great turnaround time. I think $30 a card is way too expensive, even for a $500 card. Once grading is $8 to $15, I will be grading again. Until then, I am just waiting it out. Having options is great and I think even PSA fans should want CSG/SGC/BGS to succeed. The more people that use these other companies, the cheaper PSA will become with better turnaround times. Heck, HGA would be a good option at $10 if they had good turnaround time. However, they can't make a profit at $25 a card, so when grading becomes cheaper they will be out of business.
Everyone should be excited! Cheap grading with quick turnaround times will be the normal soon enough. PSA/SGC/BGS/CSG will be the only survivors because they can actually make a profit grading at $6 to $8 a card. Yes, it will be that cheap. Once the PSA backlog is done, the power will be given to us collectors to make the choices.
