I think this is a combination of Garland having a slower progression than his peers, when in actuality he may have the higher realized potential. It's still early to tell on a lot of these guys, but I still like the class overall from a depth perspective. I still remember a time when Sexton's stuff was on fire and Garland was the afterthought. But it seems Sexy's stuff has fallen by the wayside as most have seen he's a one dimensional 2 that has no business running the offense.

The hobby is weird. But we all know this. If Cleveland makes a deep playoff run and/or Gar raises his season averages to the mid 2x/8 range, then I'm certain we'll see a significant shift in hobby perspective. I've held pretty much all my 19-20 stuff, so I welcome it with open arms.

Definitely to an extent. Typically winning means more media coverage and familiarity with otherwise little known talents on small market teams. I'm excited to see what Cleveland can do if they can hold onto a spot.

This is definitely still an issue...

The Cavs highest profile game this year was against the Warriors last week in Klay's return. As Garland hit a step back 3, the play by play announcer said "Garland... the rock star for the Indians".

Not only is that not the preferred nomenclature, that's not even the right Cleveland team (or one that exists anymore).

But I'll tell you this.. if the Cavs can keep winning (and by that I mean continue being a top 6 team) into next year, you are going to hear a lot about them from the 'LeBron coming back to Cleveland' rumors that will be going around all season. At this point I'm not going to worry about it... having too much fun with these young guys.
