$150? It was more like $400+. The first few sales of Lamelo's base rookie were in the $400-500 range when Hoops dropped last year. So one could argue (to some extent) that the $1000 price point for hobby was justified.
But since last April, the singles market has obviously declined significantly and yet Panini & their distributors are still trying to keep wax prices artificially high, with the help of the breakers they cater to. Peddling low-end junk as new "mid-end". Makes no sense when a big hit or even case hit of a top rookie doesn't even cover the cost of a box
