That's the best you can hope for from a mystery product.

If you didn't go into this realizing that this is a way for BO to make money, and dump unwanted/overstocked product then that's on you.

I'm going respectfully disagree here. Houdini does mystery boxes - Value is always there - cause he's a solid, reputable guy. I have even done the blind $1000 Houdini mystery box - and it was fantastic. Why would I go blind for 1k? Because it's Houdini. I trust him and his brand. He has always delivered.
Yes - he made money - but I felt I got great value for what I spent - as did everyone else as far as I know.
My lcs does repack products - and they also have been solid. Never a bunch of retail junk. I trust them as well.
Blowout, imo - has that same reputation. They are fair, and usually deliver for their customers. I think with these - they have hurt that rep.
BO always makes money -- they run a a business - but again - imo they could have done more to deliver wins for the customer on this too.
My 2 cents. I'm not mad at them. I know the risks of a repack. But will I buy one from them again? No.
Would I buy one from Houdini or my lcs again - Yes.
Sounds about right....
