On the example you mention, the white is spilling out into the border on the right, the borders look too small (which suggests either fake or trimming), and the STAR '86 is misplaced . . .
I guess if it looks fishy it most likely is. Thanks for the tip. Maybe I'll get a hold of the consignment service in question, although I certainly can't make that a full-time job either.

Can someone post a pic of a 117 that doesn't have misaligned print on the left side where the white spills over into the red border? I can't find one in a bag that doesn't have that issue either. How do we know it's a type II? I'll keep an open mind, but right now, I'm not convinced.
