His place in the history books at this point will be determined by whether or not he can win a ring or rings. If he can stay healthy and win multiple titles (especially if he does so in Milwaukee), he will definitely be considered an all-time great, top 20 type of guy. Obviously if he doesn't ever win one or has to go to another team and play Robin to someone else's Batman, he will be looked at as a great regular season player, something like an upgraded Karl Malone.
I don't think I collect at the same level as you, but I have a few 2013 boxes in my collection. This includes one Hoops, one Court Kings, two Prestige and one Crusade. My biggest regret was not purchasing a Prizm box at BO for $2,000 when the Giannis PSA 10 was reaching $1k for the first time. Good luck with your search if you decide to pull the trigger on a 2013 box.
