kinda sucks that the buyout market works this way, but I think if one of the other contenders really wanted a guy like Drummond they should just trade for them instead of waiting. Same goes for a guy like Aldridge were it seemed like Miami was the favorite but then they lost out on him.

Not sure how much more wrong you could have been...
Aldridge is a body they needed and who can shoot from mid-range, perfect depth.
And as for trading for Drummond, there's this thing called a contract - it was large and they ended up buying him out of it.... Because it was obviously too hard to trade.
