I think that's what they are going for by making these moves.
Look, it's unfair to view it as 'They cut both starting tackles". Schwartz didn't play after week 6. They went 12-1 without him while Mahomes was in the lineup. Fisher is who you need to find a replacement for.
To do that, they have at their disposal:
-Lucas Niang
-All their draft picks
-$15MM in salary cap space (currently, this will fluctuate).
Plus, the returns of Laurent Duvernay-Tardif and Kelechi Osemele on the inside could be wildcards that improve the interior.
My takeaway is that they need to find an immediate answer at Left Tackle. If that happens, there are enough things floating around that the rest of the line could be serviceable. Regardless, the line they walk into the season with will be an improvement from what than what they rolled out in the Super Bowl
