I'm sure there are some real ungraded Star cards out there. Some of the ones on eBay might even be the real deal...it's just a matter of whether or not you want to take the gamble. Most people with a real one would have sent it to BGS by now to have it authenticated, but not everyone goes that route. I personally wouldn't buy one that either wasn't graded or wasn't in the sealed bag, but that's just me.
