Yet when I DO show you a headline that is an obvious intent to mislead, it's OK because the truth is buried in the story (fish tank cleaner).
What you're saying is that no media stories can ever technically be lies. If the story says "X Happened", and the later edit is "This Story That We Said Happened Didn't Actually Happen", no lying. It can always be pinned to someone else (an official, our source, whoever).
