I think it could be less about the money and more about the fact that they are giving out more parallel garbage. I get it, they are low numbered, but so are Tmall exclusives, and FOTL exclusives, and Mosaic choice exclusives....
It's overkill. The 'return to junk wax era' comparison isn't an issue of printing too many copies of each card like it was in 1991, it's an issue of printing off parallels in oblivion. This is just more of the same.
