Select was equivalent to regular non-hybrid hobby and select is a hobby only product anyway. Contenders optic is a similar story to select. Tmall lucky envelope boxes across brands are only 2 cards and an entirely different product altogether.

Tmall hasn't negatively affected prices but that's only because it hasn't been produced in formats that directly dilute U.S. retail. The one exception I noted was optic, but optic is now in an entirely different tier of product as 2nd only to prizm, and we know the optic tmall print run was miniscule (~300 cases only) as that was part of the first wave of tmall with select. Panini has now gone nuts on tmall and I'd reasonably assume this should be a massive release for mosaic way beyond optic production
