As an example it's been repeated over and over that the "there's good people on both sides" comment was misquoted over and over by the media and yet just earlier today someone else brought it up for the umpteenth time.
If people haven’t figured out by now that Trump is both hyperbolic and sarcastic, and that along with that the media misquotes and takes so many things he says out of context, then I don’t know what to tell you.

He doesn't get misquoted or taken out of context nearly as much as he would have you believe.

“We have it totally under control. It’s one person coming in from China, and we have it under control. It’s going to be just fine.”

“Within a couple of days,” Trump announced, “[infections are] going to be down to close to zero. One day, it’s like a miracle. It will disappear.”

"One of my people came up to me and said, ‘Mr. President, they tried to beat you on Russia, Russia, Russia.’ That didn’t work out too well. They couldn’t do it. They tried the impeachment hoax. That was on a perfect conversation. They tried anything, they tried it over and over. … And this is their new hoax.”

“Easter is a very special day for me. And I see it sort of in that timeline that I’m thinking about. And I say, wouldn’t it be great to have all of the churches full?”

“I’m going to put it very simply: The president of the United States has the authority to do what the president has the authority to do, which is very powerful. The president of the United States calls the shots.”

“LIBERATE MICHIGAN!”

“I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”

But please, tell me more about how he's taken out of context.
