As to CR7 being a striker not sure I would agree with that at Real Madrid. He was a left winger and Benzema was the striker but if anything I guess you could have called him a withdrawn striker or inverted striker but he was never a pure striker there. That was Benzema.
Don't really want to derail the thread even more so maybe best to get back to card talk but I think where all these players go Mbappe, Sancho and Haaland will have a huge impact on their card values. If Mbappe goes to Real for example his cards will explode even more and the same can be said of Sancho to ManU so watching the transfer market is a good idea. You have to wonder if first cards in their new uniforms will become a thing like basketball where for example Lebron in Lakers uni rookie is very collectible.

I collect Pulisic and I personally like his USA and new Chelsea cards better than his Dortmund cards. I don't pick up any of his BVB cards any more (except his Donruss Debut). This is one reason I like the Rated Rookie for Sancho more than the Topps Chrome for BVB.
But in the end, true rookie will win no matter what jersey they are wearing.
