Myself and the OP worked on this trade for quite some time, and at one point I backed out because I did not feel I was ready to trade my card yet. If I wanted to scam him I would have just agreed to any trade and not gone through all the time for this. When the package was delivered it did feel light and when I shook it there was no movement that I could feel. I immediately contacted the OP and told him about it. I suggested FaceTime and I showed him the package all around and asked him if this is how it was shipped. He said that it looked good, so I opened it and the package just had lots of bubble wrap.
I asked him if he was the one that shipped it and he said no, it was a friend or partner that mailed it for him. I asked is this person someone he trusts and he said he trusted this person. At that point I told him to contact FedEx and get a claim going ASAP, and I would hang onto the box as evidence.
I was told a long time ago by my Dad the most important thing we have is our family name and to never dishonour it. In my 52 years on this earth I have followed that and passed it on to my kids. I owned my own card store 30 years ago and my reputation is spotless in this hobby. To all of the people calling me a scammer, when this is over and done with you will be owing me an apology. I have bought/sold/traded with many people on this forum and hope to continue doing this going forward.

Do you have the weight of the package as you received it? Preferably a picture of it on a scale.
Then OP can show the weight FedEx shows, either online or on a printed receipt. If they match up, we know that the issue came somewhere before it got to FedEx and that the problem isn't with DoubleD or FedEx.
