But here we have people who cant afford certain cards telling people who can afford to buy them that they shouldn't. That just reeks of jealousy. These high end collectors don't owe you anything more than someone who bought a $5 card from BNC. This thread should focus on what cards have been altered. Turning this into a platform to "shame" someone for sticking up for someone they trusted (wrongly trusted it appears) is ridiculous. I understand this is a major issue in the hobby and hopefully there is a positive resolution that comes from bringing it to the the light. But bashing longtime members who simply expressed their opinion in a time where they may not have had all the facts should not be one of them.

I agree with this. This thread is almost beyond logical. Lots of good but lots of bad, unnecessary witch hunting. In the court of law, there is no such thing as guilty by ONLY association. If there were, every human would be behind bars as the slippery slope argument could be used to connect every individual to a person that committed a devious crime.
Focus on this thread should be those whose cards that are trimmed, those that trim, and the people where the evidence most CLEARY implicates them as dirty, and how this can be communicated to unknown collectors so it is prevented from happening further.
Focusing on unknowing individuals who stood up for a trimmer that they did not know about is...irrational. Get off your couch and walk outside and do something productive with your life. And don’t be so eager to cast your stone because if the board knew how dirty your darkest secrets are, you wouldn’t be viewed so kindly either.
