I think this wedding is kind of overblown. I can actually understand the interest when William got married. He is the future king of the United Kingdom. His wife would become the future queen and their firstborn the future king/queen.
But here we just have the brother whose position in the line of succession keeps getting further and further away. I think, perhaps, the media is paying extra attention because I guess everyone looks at a trainwreck which it seems this event is in danger of becoming (if it hasn't already).
Let's just say I won't be buying these cards and listing singles on eBay like I do for GoT, SW and football.
