I am curious......have you ever played basketball? Also do you see very many fast breaking teams that rebound the ball and smoothly pass it to their PG at half court to start the break on a consistent basis? I would also like to add that all of the Westbrook haters constantly bash on his usage rate being the highest in NBA history as a bad thing. Maybe it's just me but why wouldn't you want to use your best player a lot? They also forget to mention that he is the league leaders in player efficiently rating. The next thing they wanna bring up is the high number of turnovers. That might be a valid argument if the guy they think should win MVP (Harden) wasn't 1st in turnovers. Honestly I feel like the whole triple double average is all people want to talk about, but if you watch the actual games instead of just looking at the numbers you will see how truly dominant Westbrook has been. Harden has been great so I certainly don't want to take anything away from him, but I feel like Russ has had a historic season and deserves the award. I would also like to add that one of the things that really appeals to me about Russ and Harden is their stance on taking games off for "rest". Being their every single night matters to me.
