Sell at peak, donate a chunk of proceeds to a good cause. It will be easier knowing that you did something meaningful and it was important to let it go.
Everyone here is just renting their collection, in the end you never really own anything. So spend some time owning and enjoying it and be fine with moving on. Think of an old house. Imagine how many families "owned" the house. Not many since the average length of home ownership for the same house is 7-9 years.
People shouldn't take this collecting hobby too seriously. This is cardboard that doesn't mean anything in reality. The only reason why people value it, is because other people want it.
When I see these crazy sales of cards, all I think is "man, I hope these individuals give back in some other way." I am hopeful many do.
Sorry to rant, but trying to help others see the big picture cause it's easy to get caught up in the chase. Myself included.
