Completely agree. Adrian Beltre is an absolute lock as a 1st ballot HOFer. With just 58 more hits, he will become the 31st member of the 3,000 hit club. He will also reach HR #450 and double #600 early next season (currently has 445 HR and 591 2B). Beltre has also won 4 gold gloves as well.

He is widely regarded as a great team leader/clubhouse guy and to my knowledge has never been linked to or suspected of PED use.

Don't take my word for it though. Cal Ripken Jr. stated recently that Beltre was likely the best 3rd baseman in the history of MLB:
