Why do people seem to believe that the concept of free speech only applies in relation to the 1st Amendment and out government? It's like they all took a Constitutional law elective class at their community college and think they're outsmarting everyone else. Yes, sometimes the issues is Constitutionally protected speech... other times it's not. In this case the issue is a person's free speech and his employer's reaction to it. You might agree with the employer or you might not... but it's still about free speech.
