Steven Adams is a pretty good athlete for a 7-footer. Not in the high flyer sense of the word, but his combination of psychical play down low coupled with his ability to defend of the perimeter when he needs to. Compare that with what happens when Kanter gets stuck guarding Steph/Klay outside and you'll see what I mean.
That being said, it all comes back to the bench where GS has almost every advantage you can think of. Livingston, Andre I, guys like that give them a huge boost and are what puts them over the top imo.
