I collect cards with my ten year old and we open a wide variety of stuff, new releases, 80's junk, etc. We never had much luck with the Panini stuff, I think the lack of team names and logos is a turn off for him. Opening Day is a great, a box runs under $40 and there are lots of great inserts. We opened Donruss base but Lucas found the cards very boring.
