Ebay does NOT authenticate Marvel cards

According to Ebay customer service despite the eBay "authenticity guaranteed " on the auction listing.

I purchased a marvel pmg, with the authenticity guarantee but the card arrived with an ebay...

How can you tell the difference between the 1977 OPC Luke Skywalker #1 and the Topps #1 version? And are there more than 2 types? Some PSA slabs say OPC, Topps, or blank (no brand at all)
