I've been opening boxes in hope of chasing McDavid, Larkin and other Young Guns...

Not surprisingly, once I figured out I needed 5 of any one Young Gun to "upgrade" to a foil parallel (see my post in the Hockey section to weigh in on whether upgrading is a good idea), I've started opening some cases. I love the efficiency! you seem to get 1-2 of each YG per case...

I've pulled some pretty good cards along the way...

- Orr Signature Sensations
- Sawchuk 300 Wins
- Domi Exclusives /100

I've been fingers crossed on an Exclusives Larkin or McDavid - no luck so far!

But in my most recent box... I hit this beauty:

The way the cards are revealed to you, this was the very last card of the box...

I'm super curious what big hits are in the ePacks... i.e. if they held back High Gloss (/10) McDavid's for instance...

wow super nice, congrats, this is at least the second one I have seen pulled from epacks

I really UD tweeted out that they held 20% of the whole production for epacks

so there will be 2 of the 10 HG young guns for each in them

Awesome hit. I hit a Larkin Exclusives from a few packs and was thrilled. Not sure how'd I'd react to hitting this or one of the HG McDavid's.

I saw the answer to my own question - Congrats! I tried 1 box, did horrible, got gun shy and haven't gone back to the well

Ive opened a box and 6 packs of the epacks and havent hit a single card that sells for $5.

It was pulled from individual packs.

What's the price per pack/box vs. actually packs/boxes found at an Lcs?

I also did pretty good too. I tried 2 e boxes yesterday and hit Artemi Panarin YG in the first box and a Panarin canvas and Domi YG in the next. I also got Connor Hellebuyk YG and Canvas in those boxes.
That's not all though, bought 3 e packs today and hit Connor McDavid YG in my first pack, and a Crosby Canvas in my 2nd. Definitely did better than at the LCS, and good advertisement for them for the people that get lucky. Being from Erie, very happy to personally pull a McDavid YG, even if it was on a website. lol
I'm done for a while, but I can see it getting compulsively addicting, just like normal packs only this way they are just one click away.

at first I was doing the free pack every day, now I'm trying a 4-10 packs a day and have hit Panarin, Domi, 2 Same Bennetts, McDavid checklist :( and a Clear Cut Foundations /25 of Tarasenko and Schwartz. Too bad nothing is really moving out of my comc

Yea Im at about 14 packs now, been ripping one or two since opening day here and there. Best card is a larkin YG. Lots of no name YG's for me. Havent sniffed a mcdavid. As much as I have spent on Retail and E-packs I should have just bought a case way back.
