How many stamps do I need for a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 envelope

I found some 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 envelopes, and I was thinking I can use them for mailing photos for ttms. Does anyone know how many stamps you need for that kind of envelope?

depends what u send with the photo. if u put a small piece of card board you will use probably 3 stamps if u just send with a top loader you will use 2..

Is there anyway I could send the photo ( no top loader or cardboard), LOR and SASE with only using 1 stamp to get it there?

if u want to take a chance of the photo getting bent.. its up to you..
