Walmart "Blister" Packs - Chasing a ghost?
 

It seems like people on here are having a TON of luck pulling good cards from Blister packs from Wal-Mart. These are described as very different from Blasters, and only have 2 packs in them and labeled as hobby packs, selling for 15.98. I have been in 2 of my walmarts here in Omaha, Nebraska and cannot find any trace of them, not even the sales tag where they would be if sold out.

Just wondering if anyone else has been skunked at trying to find these in walmart? Or possibly in a different spot? I am looking where all the cards usually are, towards the registers with all the magic cards and "as seen on tv" products, usually near the cigs and booze.

I went to 2 Wal-Marts in my area yesterday and didn't see any either. Might be delayed? I may check again tomorrow or sometime this week.

I have traveled to my surrounding 6 or 7 and 2 of them do not have them, the other 4 or 5 did .. the closest wal mart to me does not have anything but a couple generic blasters and some gaming cards... Did you notice anything else updated? If so then they may not have those blisters coming your way.. hard to say. If it hasn't been updated then you should see those Wal Mart's with a pretty big sports card update soon including a few hobby boxes for sale and maybe a few restocks on other current products.

One of my two close wal mart had them... I grabbed two of the blisters ( 4 total packs ) and pulled 1 auto... refractor /35 of aj mccaron.

lol no everything was SUPER bare bones. They had a couple 2013 strata blasters on clearance and a couple 2014 blasters but nothing else

It's the same as the poster just above. Pretty much nothing there left. But there was a huge pallet of stuff in front at one store - I didn't see anything that looked like cards, but it's possible since there was quite a bit and it looked like time to load up. They didn't have any Gypsy Queen yet at that one, so I'm guessing Finest will be added at the same time. The other store had Gypsy so maybe they're not getting any Finest.

all walmart's stuff is done by a vendor who usually wheels in his little cart every other week. it doesnt come in on pallets with the normal store items.

The two WMs nearest me have them and I have busted 5. I have done well and may go back for more. They also had UD blisters with Retro and SPX. Good luck to everyone.

Walmart in my area has then, i seen them saturday and thought nothing of them. Figured they were like the boxes of assorted packs that had nothing worth of mention in them. I went back yesterday and they were already all gone through. I bought a finest and a prime anyways. Best card of the 4 packs was a finest OBJ rookie. Im sure if you havent found them by now, they either wont get them in, or they are already all gone through.

Bought 3 last night and got burned pretty bad, bad enough that I wished I would have spent another ten bucks and got a hobby box of chrome!

I'm in omaha also.walmart never restock anything it seems.target always has more

My best hit was a thin pack. The same pack had a Herron auto /35 and a Victor Cruz pink ref. /10. The one fat pack had a Savage jersey auto not numbered.

That's actually good to know. I plan on buying a few when I see them.

I checked one Walmart here yesterday, they didn't have any cards (even gaming). Said they do not carry them anymore. I might check a couple others, but I think I will probably end up with the same results :(

UPDATE: Was able to find 6 at a different Walmart! Picked them all up, since there are no LCS here :D Fun break!

I'm eating olive garden with the gf then we are going to check walmart for these before I take her shopping lol

Finally found them in the Walmart across the city! But it looks as if a rabid animal got in the back door and mauled the card aisle. I picked up the last topps prime and 1 of the 3 spx. Nothing good though. The lone auto was a Dri Archer from SPx /299 and an Aaron Murray patch from Prime.

Walmart near me quit carrying cards apparently since the vendor wasn't keeping up with it. I found some awesome Funko collectibles that are tough to find last time I went, so pretty disappointing.

i didn't find any finest today but i did find 4 of the upper deck spx / retro and 3 of the prime

i bought all 7 lol why the hell not..

Not hard to search them when you can tell just by looking at it. The signed relic packs are considerably thicker than other packs so they stand out.

I just find the 'you better hurry and beat the packsearchers (so you can search the packs for yourself)' pretty funny.
