Thoughts/Suggestions for my team
 

Currently in year 2 of a 12 team head-to-head league on Yahoo. We had 20 keepers from our first season, so our draft last night was mostly bench/filler players. Just wanted to get some thoughts on how my team looks and any suggestions that people may have for upgrades.

I am pretty weak in the pitching department, but my lineup is pretty stacked. May try and trade some of my depth in my lineup for starters. Anybody I should target?

Target somebody healthy. 1/4 of your rotation is hurt. Also replace Utley and Aramis soon because those fossils will kill you in a keeper format.

Trying to get more pitching depth, I picked up Adam Warren, Danny Duffy, and Zach Duke off waivers. Will likely search for a trade or two as well.

So another question that I have for you guys, is as this is a keeper league we are only allowed to have 2 N/A (not active) players on our roster at a time. That means that before the season begins, I will have to drop one of Byron Buxton, Javier Baez, or Joey Gallo. Buxton is a keeper for me, but if you had to choose for the future would you rather keep Baez or Gallo?

That's a tough decision, try to trade one of them.

Sucks that you have to drop one since they could replace Utley and ramirez

I tried making a couple deals yesterday, but I was getting counters with some pretty ridiculous offers from people. I ended up dropping Gallo. I don't have the most faith in Baez, but I figure it would be nice to have a MI with his ability if he can turn it around, and he is closer to being an everyday player in the majors than Gallo.

Didn't Gallo just get hurt?

Yeah he is out for 3 weeks so that could very well play into your decision OP
