When I see that an update is available I usually wait at least a month before doing the update. Apple always seems to have some glitch they didn't know about and will correct it with a second update. It really do find it annoying to see the "1" on my screen!

Agreed... at the very least I don't do the updates in the morning before work. I leave them until some night when I'm at home. At least, then, I can work on any issues and not be stranded without my phone for the day.

I just told my wife this morning NOT to run the update right now.

edit: Also, I usually wait until Friday night so I can take the entire weekend to work on issues. Looks like the error you are seeing is due to Apple servers being over loaded from all the millions of users trying to run the update.

At this point i wouldn't. The day before this latest patch I would have suggested you go ahead and update as all the major bugs have been quashed.

Always wait awhile before I update anything. Seems like there is some issue with every new update unless it's the update fixing something.

I updated this morning around 7am. Everything works fine except the app store. Can't update or download anything. Haven't seen an error code though

Do you keep regular backups? You might need one.

Yes I believed my itune at home does back it up.

I'll plug it into my imac when I get home and hopes it works or atleast gives me a chance to RESTORE the damn thing.

IronMonkey415 03-11-2015 05:39 PM

As always I find ways to just continue to screw things up. I couldn't wait to get home so restore it a few minutes ago here at work and lost everything.

Maybe there is a way to plug it at home and select some setting on my Itune at home and maybe grab some backup files from it.

IronMonkey415 03-11-2015 05:41 PM

No need to help guys, I think I could live with the factory reset. Gives me a chance to not load it with crappy apps that I never used anyway.

Start fresh and clean once again.

You didn't know when you restored it that you would lose everything? It puts it back to factory settings.

Your iTunes should back up your phone periodically unless you turned the feature off. So probably should be able to plug your phone in and retrieve a back up

Problem I'm having lately (was happening before this morning's new iOS update), for about a week or two now while on safari. The web page will freeze for a few seconds while loading, scrolling, or typing. Seems to happen pretty often jut randomly. Was hoping with this latest download that it would fix it. But seems to still persist
