Topps Dr. Who set
 

It was posted at NSU that Topps will be releasing a Dr. Who set...not a fan of the show myself, but I know a lot of people are.

Lots of inserts.

2 total autographs, dual autographs, costume relics, prop relics, sketch cards, medallions or printing plates per box.

And yes, it appears the autographs are stickers.

I bet this set will be popular. There's a huge fandom for dr. Who.

Yes, this is going to be crazy popular! (not sure about 2 total autographs thought).

I think it means there is a some combination of 2 of all those major hits per box, not 2 total autographs.

It's two of those inserts per box.

I wonder if this set will ever materialize? Inkworks had the license before they went out of business, and then Rittenhouse was rumored to have the license (along with Merlin, which never saw the light of day either.)

By all accounts, the BBC is notoriously difficult to work with...

the have already put out game cards for Doctor Who...plus Topps has been around forever. It lists shipping in Dec.plenty of time to save up for this one! I'm gonna get tons of cases!

WOW! I wonder how many signers? How many Doctor signers? Plus costumes, props, and sketches? This is like a 20 case minimum order! Scratch medallions off the list and it's a 40 case minimum order. :D

Well, this should be massive.

The only thing I know about this franchise is that it's insanely popular and this product should be huge so long as they remotely try.

Sounds like price point will be about the same as Galactic Files to start, although word is that they are only 8 box cases...so maybe about $650 or so at the distributor level.

I just found what is going to get me back into cards.

This is going to be HUGE. So many possible options with the autos! As long as Topps tries and puts together a solid product, this is a long time coming.

I may have to sell a few items to get several cases.

I've been hoping for something like this. I may be getting a few boxes, too. I've been a fan since the early 80s.

bingo. since topps prints to order, you can bet they will print a TON of this product, thus deflating any hope for dealers to make money.

Great once again though for collectors.

Been a fan since the 70's. And I'll be in the market to buy Tom Baker's auto, if he's in here.
