What took them so long?

Bad move, one of the worst centers in the NBA, very overrated PF away from the rim and an average at best bench. Hpw is any of that Vinny's fault? He is the scapegoat not the problem. He was not the problem in Chicago just another scapegoat.

Players never get blamed, coaches do.

Agreed 100%. There was absolutely NO half-court offense, outside of Iso Chris, Iso Jamal, and the occasional Pick & Roll, dictated by CP3. Vinny was awful out of timeouts, and he also used his timeouts terribly.

The big situation here, is that the main reason he is gone is that CP3 wanted him gone, and we need to make sure that man is as happy as we can make him.

Strange. Best coach they have had in a while. I dont' think he was the problem.

Clips were a big disappointment....

Totally disagree, amazing PG 1st of all, you left him out and he makes other people so much better. Griffin is young and is very promising, Jordan hasn't developed the way his athletic ability would make you hope he would so i'm with you there. Very deep bench including the 2nd place vote in 6th man of the year. Tough guys like Barnes, young athetic guys like Bledsoe. This team flunked but not because the coach didn't draw up the right game plan. When its not a cloxe game/series, that wasn't the coach.

I can't really say i have too much info on this. I guess if CP3 wants him gone he has to go but they had the best regular season in the history of the franchise, kinda tough to get the boot. They better bring in a great coach of which i think their are so few worth firing him.

I guess, my main point is that he wouldn't have been fired if CP3 wanted him to remain coach. He and Blake were both consulted over the move. We've got to make sure CP3 is on board, so he must've helped with that decision at least.

SacGWYNN19 05-23-2013 09:15 PM

The fact he was fired is a complete joke. Record season for the clips, most wins ever. First time ever winning the Pacific. 4-0 against the other team in LALA land.

If he truly got fired because of Chris Paul, this is an embarrassment for the league. Exactly what has Chris Paul ever won. Blake Griffin hasn't been healthy and quite frankly is overrated. Jordan is not a marquee center in the league. And to boot, they got beat by the Grizzlies, which I had beating them anyway. The Grizzlies were clearly the better team.

Clipper fans should get prepared for another 20 more years of bottom feeding, pretty sad.
