2025 Blowout Secret Santa
No big red text messages again this year.
Please understand this- Some people go above and beyond. That's great. Some people can only do the minimum. That's fine. [B]Because of shipping costs and possible import taxes this is limited to US members. If you are International BUT HAVE A US SHIPPING ADDRESS you use then you can get in,[/B] [B]Also last year someone got a VERY generous gift package and SOLD one or more of his gifts saying he had doubles. The gifts you receive are because YOU gave a list of what you like and collect. And yes once you receive your gifts they are yours to do with as you like. Seems a tad bit silly to sell them. If you get something you already have and want to sell one then sell the one you currently have instead of the gift, Makes you look less of a scumbag. (Steps off soapbox)[/B] Personally I have been fighting cancer for 5 years now. 4 years ago I had an unknown illness that ended up being a tumor on my pituitary gland in my head. I know life gets in the way. If you think life is going to get in the way I respectfully ask you don't join. I would rather have people bow out before joining then me having to ban them from joining. I purposely kept this going the last few years and every time something goes wrong it makes me gun shy to do it again. But we are back to try this again. Please read everything. If you don't understand something, then ask. We are adults here. I shouldn't have to hound you to send your gift, pay your donation or to show your gift. Rules- 1. Minimum Gift value $35. (This is a pre tax/Pre Shipping value) Again we are adults. If someone wants a Charlie Brown RC, Patch or auto and you see one for sale for $35. Check Ebay completed sales. If they sell every day for $12 then maybe buy one or bid on one that sells for $35 or more. If you have one in your collection that sells for $50 you can most certainly send that. 2. Minimum donation towards Toys 4 Tots is $10. Those e_Gift Cards can be sent to [email]jlzinck@comcast.net[/email] The Toys for Tots donation goes towards my annual T4T Drive. 3. If you don't post pictures of your gift(s) you will not be allowed to enter going forward. You can send pictures to me via text to get the pics posted if needed (3 people from last year cannot participate because of this) DEADLINE to JOIN is October 27TH. I will have the Santa Info out to everyone by November 4th. That will give you a month plus to find something. If you want a certain member to be your recipient let me know. I would do this if you had something you knew that member would really love. (This worked out really well in the past) The “GIFT” should be gift wrapped according to the season BEFORE it is packaged to be mailed . On the outside of the package, should be placed the words BLOWOUT gift exchange. This should help people from just randomly ripping a package open. The package should be mailed on or shortly after the 10th of December in order to insure a delivery in time for the holidays. “GIFTS” should not be opened before the evening of the 24th of December. Besides the return address on the package, no identification of the sender is necessary. You WILL NOT be penalized for opening early. You CAN'T SEND 2 $20 Autos as your gift. Gifts must be sent with Delivery Confirmation and the number must be sent to me. Open to members in good standing who have been here Since Jan 2025 AND have at least 5 I Trader rating or higher or have a good transaction with me. I ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT or DENY ENTRY TO THIS EXCHANGE FOR ANY REASON I SEE FIT “GIFTS” are limited in their nature to being sports related or at least something that PSA or BGS might grade or authenticate. (in the rare case of a non–sports card or autograph) OR something the recipient asks for. Some members request items for their kids. In this case if a member asks for Pokemon, Squishmellow or something for 2 kids then the minimum amount can be spread out over a couple of gifts because 2 8 year olds would have no issue receiving multiple packs of Pokemon cards that followed the spirit of the exchange for the value.
