Who’s playing their Last Game today?
I mean among longer term players. My favorite teams are currently fairly young so I’m drawing a blank on this.
|
Kershaw
|
Probably Kyle Hendricks, Carlos Santana and Justin Turner.
|
Charlie Morton
|
Nats legend, Michael A Taylor
|
The Mets :D
|
With the impending lockout, it could be everyone...
EDIT: I'm dumb. I was a year off. |

That is 2027 season that would be potential lockout I thought. |
Wilmer Flores, perhaps.....
|
Miles Mikolas (though I think teams will look under the hood and he'll land somewhere for a year)
Rich Hill Andrew McCutcheon Carlos Carrasco Tommy Pham |

Rich Hill Andrew McCutcheon Carlos Carrasco Tommy Pham
Never count Dick Mountain out. |
Whenever I see a thread like this, I always think of Edgar Renteria.
He COULD have retired at the end of the 2010 season, with his final swing in the majors being a WS-winning HR that also earned him the WS MVP. Instead he chose to come back and play one more utterly forgettable year with the Reds  |

Plus, if you love playing, never retire until they make you. |

Rich Hill Andrew McCutcheon Carlos Carrasco Tommy Pham
Is Cutch done - do we know that? |
Hopefully Justin Turner.
Sincerely, a Cubs fan |

All true.....just sayin'.....he could have had possibly the greatest last AB in MLB history. |
I'm guessing today is the day the Yankees and Reds play their last game of 2025.
|
Padres might also be playing their last game today. Would be likely farewell for Maldonado and maybe Iglesias
|
Hopefully we send Goldy off to a nice retirement today.

Unfortunately I think you might be right :( |
Hopefully AL MVP runner-up Aaron Judge :)

Well, 3 out of 4 ain't bad. How are Yankees fans feeling about today? Is this the last game Aaron Boone ever manages? |

Would Yankees fans rather have their team win this game and Boone stays another year, or lose this game and Boone is fired? :coffee: |
