That was the best quarter of basketball today. Nice pull-up mid range from the baseline for VJ.

Said this elsewhere but I watch no college basketball, so summer league is my introduction to everyone. I’m in on VJ. He looks like a second year guy out there. Getting wherever he wants, restrained in the PnR, distributes well, not horrible defensively, doesn’t dominate time of possession but asserts himself where necessary. Definitely going to watch sixers rest of summer league.

Haven’t been looking for Clayton but agree with you on Ace. He’s just 2 dribbles and pull up into a contested jumper. Had 1 nice block and pretty underwhelming otherwise.

VJ’s a smart player. He has some Jimmy Butler in him. Once he learns to navigate ball screens and hit that mid-range consistently he’ll be a ton of fun on both ends. Sixers may have got a good one.
