YayNJ 06-04-2025 11:51 AM

That'll be the day that a product other than paper Topps UCL releases for <$100 a box.....

As has been noted elsewhere, Finest Flashbacks from a couple of years ago are a better value (and a lot more fun) than ANY current release.

Buying soccer wax is a mugs game at the moment.

I genuinely can't see over the next X amount of years when I will buy another sealed box/case of Soccer unless something dramatically changes.

Agreed.

No more stickers would be a huge step.

2016 Flawless is still my favorite.

Stickers are (unfortunately) here to stay, especially for a sport like soccer where the players in a set are spread across multiple leagues/countries.

The logistics of getting on-card autos isn't worth the hassle for Panini or Topps/Fanatics.

What you're saying is it needs to be well-planned.

I agree, but think it's possible — just gotta get the right minds put to it.

Stay positive!

Unfortunately, the manufacturers have no incentive to put in the extra effort as long as products with sticker autos are still selling.

If you're sending stickers back and forth, you can do the same with cards. You can even send your interns to collect them from the top players for the cost of a RailPass.

in the age of next day global shipping there's literally no excuse
