Seems weird that there using the 45th anniversary designation for the throwbacks, since that was Topps next-to-last year of producing NBA cards.

Would have been much smarter to do 55th Anniversary (i.e. starting with the 1970-71 design). Then you'd have an entire decade of designs to go through.

Liking what I'm seeing.

At the end of the day the design is window dressing. Question is, do they use good, real game photos?

Depends on how you collect, doesn't it?

For collectors like me, design is the primary factor in determining whether or not we collect a product or insert set....I only collect cards that I find visually appealing and am going to enjoy looking at.

That Lebron throwback looks amazing. I am a sucker for the 35th anniversary in baseball. This stuff is going to sell like crazy. Topps Chrome will be extra bananas.

I'm just about as casual of a basketball collector as it gets, but I'm going to have to do a couple boxes of these. Same for football.
