What: 2024 Topps Royalty tennis cards Arrives: May 15, 2025 Box basics: Six autographs/Relics and two more Relics per 10-card box (four boxes per case) Order: Click here What's buzz-worthy: Topps' new high-end line hits the court with a mix of past and present stars together in a release that's nearly all hits and with a number of firsts for tennis card collectors such as racket knob Relics and more. Keep reading for more and a full gallery of images. The Basics: There will be one base card (/99) and one parallel from a 100-card set along with the hits in this one. Parallels will include Purple (/35), Blue (/25), Red (/15), Gold (/10), Green (/5) and 1/1 Platinum cards just like in other Royalty releases. Relics will include jumbo rookies, stars, Regalia, Jewels and Prodigious Pairings sets with Blue, Gold, Green and Platinum parallels at the same volumes. There also will be The Grip (/5) cards with a 1/1 Platinum parallel as well as 1/1 racket knob Relics. Autographed Relics will be found in six sets -- rookies, Regalia, Superior Triumph, jumbo booklets and 1/1 racket knobs. These will have Blue, Gold, Green and Platinum parallels at the same volumes except for the books, which will only have Green and Platinums, and the knobs that will stand alone. For autograph-only cards, there will be 12 sets (same four parallels) and they will include rookies, Imperial, Ambassadors, Superior, Influential and Pursuit of Greatness for starters. Those will be joined by five sets with only a 1/1 parallel beyond the basic card -- duals, triples, The Coronation, Royal Decree and The Time Is Now. A quad-auto book also will be in play with Green and 1/1 versions awaiting some collectors. |
Will be interested to see the checklist. Six autos in a 10 card box suggests the production will be low. $425 for 10 tennis cards is pretty optimistic though.

It is alot... I preordered a case because I'm a sucker...Keeping my expectations in check. I can't believe that royalty ufc is listed at $850 per box with the same format. |

Looking forward to this product. Should be some unique cards, hopefully all the big names from the other products also signed
|
A checklist is absolutely necessary before I commit anything to this.
|
Although the product intrigues me, 2475 cases seems like a lot for a tennis product.

It is quite a bit. What was the graphite case count? I'm assuming around the same since the price point is a few hundred dollar difference? |
anyone know when checklists for new products typically come out?
|
Looks like cases are selling out on the major sites already. May pick up a few more boxes.
No checklist I can find yet. But some breakers have listings which gives you an idea. |
Nvmd. Everybody restocked a day later. It will be interesting to see if the price hikes after release date like UFC did.
|
I grabbed a case couple of weeks ago. Looking forward to the release!

100% this. Itll just be 1-2 and reload. |
Direct from Topps:
$379.99 boxes $1,519.99 cases Bummer. Was hoping this was more reasonably priced considering the checklist. |
Checklist seems normal, who did you expect?

Sub $300 to be realistic. |
Nah I get that, and agree but not just this I see products across multiple sports where people imply the checklist isn’t that great or missing people but when I look it has most of the names I’d expect. For this in particular unless you were expecting some crazy legends this is pretty much what I would have expected. I think it’ll be a good product it’s just expensive
|
Solid checklist - Topps link below. Nothing egregious.
https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0662/9749/5709/files/2024ToppsRoyaltyTennisChecklist.pdf?v=1747065067 Price is in line with a couple of cases I bought - about $30 cheaper than the early pre-orders. Hopefully, we have a chance to buy. |
That's a helluva quad auto -

How are you calculating 2,475 cases? If you calc the base set with the pack odds and average it out. I'm getting ~7,500 Boxes, ~1,875 Cases. |
The “big 3” already jacking up their prices. It’s went up $100 overnight with one place at $2000 a case now.
|
God bless greed and the idiots that hoover it up still.

Isn't it 1 base card per box? 100 base card set #'d /99 100 x 99 = 9900 base cards 9900/4 boxes (1 case) = 2475 cases |

Yeah, they were raising it in $25 increments over the past couple of weeks until a big ratchet up today. My guess is we barely get to sniff a chance at buying on the topps website. This is following the same pattern as Royalty UFC. Maybe prices per box wind up $500-600 per? Lots of breaks available right now |
